Building Informational Modeling - three-dimensional, information modeling of the building and the surrounding area, where all systems are docked and linked in a single plan.
What is BIM used for?
The purpose of modeling is collection and complex processing of architectural, design, technological, engineering, economic and other information about the building during the design process. The building is considered as a single object.
BIM technologies are based on a virtual three-dimensional model with real physical properties, which allows effective interaction:
- coordination of sections of the project
- collision tracking
- construction of reliable nodes
- determination of the geometry of building structures
